Rev. Dr. Herbert Franklin Fisk was the son of Rev. Franklin and Chloe Catherine (Stone) Fisk. Anna (Green) Fisk was his 1st wife. They were married July 11, 1866. Anna died December 1908. Carla (Fern) Sargent Fisk was his 2nd wife. They were married February 15, 1912. Carla died January 23, 1972. Rev. Dr. Fisk was a minister and educator in the Oneida Conference and Rock River Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He was Principal of Genesee Wesleyan Seminary 1868-1872 and Principal of Northwestern University Preparatory School/Evanston Academy/Northwestern University Academy 1873-1915. He was an ardent anti-tobacco and anti-saloon crusader.
