My Grandmother's grandfather, about whom she had fond memories. He was a devout man, and taught bible class in his later years. He is mentioned frequently in the history of Fair Haven, having a very nice house near the border of West Haven. Born in Sheldon VT in the year without a summer, he later moved to Hampton NY and then Fair Haven. He was a prosperous farmer and business man.
