Robert Cannon Neslen,at the age 79 passed away on Augest 10th,1988 in Santa Barbara,California.Bob was born on December 10th,1908 in Salt Lake City,Utah to the parents of Grace Telle Cannon and Charles Clarence Neslen. Bob went on a Mission to Germany for the LDS Church.When he got home he met and Married his first wife Melba Smith on July 9th,1933 in Tooele,Utah.They had one son named Gary. They were later divorced.Bob married his second wife Margaret Stead on June 20th,1936 in the Salt Lake Temple in Salt Lake City,Utah.They were blessed with three children,Sharon,Robert,and Janet.Bob and Margaret's family moved to Santa Barbara California in the late 1940's and Bob and Margaret lived there the rest of Bob's life.At one time they operated a store in the Santa Barbara area of California.
Bob is survived by his wife Margaret,three children, Sharon(Robert)Schouter,Robert Cannon Neslen,Janet Clara(Stephen)Curtis. Brother Charles Richard Neslen(LeVern)of Salt Lake city,Utah,and sister Trudy Benniion of Santa Marena,California,Sister in Laws; Eleanor Neslen of Whittier California and Leone Neslen of Salt Lake City,Utah.Preceeded in death by a Grandson. Bob is buried in the Rose Hills Cemetery in Santa Barbara,California.
