Almost 9 months to the day, their daughter, Jane, was born. Elizabeth and Jane made the long journey from Glasgow to New York on the ship, The Robena to be with Robert. The passenger list states, "Going to husband". They arrived in their new homeland on September 25, 1851. The Campbell Family made their home in Newtown, New York, where they had the rest of their children, Robert (1853- ), William (1855- ) Colin (1857- ), Elizabeth (1859-1907), and Henry Leverich (1861- ).
