Services for Robert J. Steiskal, 80, of Lakeside, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in El Cajon Mortuary. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. He died Monday in his home.
Mr. Steiskal was born in Illinois, lived in the county 52 years, worked in the aerospace industry for 50 years and had been a Carpenter Steel welder for 25 years. He was a member of the El Cajon Elks Lodge Bowling League and the Boy Builders and had been a past president of the men's group of First Lutheran Church of National City.
Survivors include his wife, Elvira; a son, Richard, of Idaho; a daughter, Judith Tokas of Menifee Valley, Calif.; seven
grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. The family suggested donations to the Leukemia Society of America.
