Carl W. Grady Dies Tuesday
OCONTO - A lifetime resident of Oconto County, Carl W. Grady, 72 of Route 1, Oconto, died Tuesday at Appleton Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
He was born Sept. 24, 1906, in the Town of Little River. Mr. Grady operated a dairy farm there for most of his life and had served on the Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation Committee for Oconto County. The deceased was a member of County Line Grange, the Pure Milk Association and First American Lutheran Church.
He married the former Edna Gohr Aug. 29, 1942, at St. John's Lutheran Church of Morgan. She survives with a daughter, Mrs. Jack Dario of Appleton; two sons, Rodney of El Paso, Texas and Larry of Little Chute; four sisters, Mrs. Irene Fifrick and Mrs. Leland Smith of Peshtigo, Mrs. Carol Rost of Kingsford, Mich., and Mrs. Al Remmel of Wausau; and four grandchildren. A sister and two brothers died previously.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Gallagher-Pinkart Funeral Home.
Services will be held there at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Harold Aasland will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
