CROSSVILLE — March 17, 1967 — June 28, 2011

Brian Patrick Williams, 44, of Crab Orchard, passed away June 28, 2011. Funeral services were held June 30 from the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with Bro. Danny Smith officiating. A private family burial was held in Davidson Cemetery.

Mr. Williams was born March 17, 1967, in Xenia, OH, the son of Robert Lee and Glada Mae Voiles Williams.

He was a musician in a band named Broken Toys in Florida. He was also a yard foreman for Acme Block. He loved playing rock and roll music. He played drums, lead guitar and was lead singer in his band. He enjoyed song writing and wrote for his band. He was a very active member of the Fairfield Glade Bridge Club and an Honorary Life Member of ACBL Unit 165.

Survivors include his loving girlfriend of four years, Meg Proffitt; parents, Robert Lee and Glada Mae Voiles Williams, all of Crab Orchard; son, Andrew Brian Russo of Florida; Meg's children, Amie Roark, Laura Foust, Greg Roark and Luke Proffitt; grandmother, Lena Voiles of Ohio; sister, Jennifer Collins and husband James of Tennessee; brothers, Jeff Williams, Keith Williams and wife Cindy, all of Florida, and Scott Williams of Tennessee; aunts and uncles, Harriett Ellen Finley and husband Johnny of California, Brenda Coterel, David L. Williams and wife Darlene of Tennessee, and Bruce Voiles and wife Arlene of Ohio; nephews, Jeff Williams Jr., James Ray Collins, Joel Williams and Micah Williams; nieces, Holly Williams, Amy Williams and Amber Collins; and several great-aunts, -uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Louis and Mary Williams; and maternal grandfather, Hobert Voiles.

Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.

According to the funeral home staff a mistake was made. Brian Patrick Williams is buried at Hebbertsburg cemetery
