She loved to sew and secretly did charity work, was very kind hearted and was truthful and generous to a fault. She is survived by her husband Joe Cruikshank whom she married February 3, 1950, daughters Linda Lee (Tom) Huston of Kent, Norma (Jack) Cruikshank-Haller of Akron, grandchildren Victoria, Vincent, Veronica, six great-grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and sister Grace Kinsey of Mississippi. In addition to her parents , she was preceded in death by her brothers Robert, Luther, Bernard, Kenneth and sisters Geraldine Phillips and Marquerite Corly. Calling hours will be 2-4 PM Sunday May 1, 2011 at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday May 2, 2011 with Rev. Bill Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna,Ohio.
