Mrs. Henry Wacek, 54, died unexpectedly Sunday evening of a cerebral hemorrhage at the home in Francis Creek. She previously had been in good health.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. Joseph Rauch will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
The former Anna Novachek was born April 28, 1901, in the Town of Morrison, Brown County, daughter of Wencel and Mary Shuber Novachek. On June 28, 1921, she was married to Henry Wacek and the couple settled on the Wacek homestead farm near Francis Creek. She was a member of the St. Ann Christian Mothers Society of the parish church.
Surviving her are the husband; a daughter and three sons,
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wencel Novachek of Menchalsville; a brother, William Novachek of Menchalsville; two sisters, Mrs. George Schamhurek of Reedsville and Mrs. Harold Schmidt of Manitowoc; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday where the
Rosary will be recited at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday.
