Gerry was very adept with her hands, packing fish, making wreaths, sewing quilts, crocheting and baking. She was employed in many fish factories in Eastport and Lubec. During World War II she was a day care provider for Works Progress Administration and worked with ladies wrapping bandages for the war. She and her mother were also aircraft spotters during the war. She and her husband, Bill, owned and operated Bill's Antiques, Perry.
She attended and was baptized at North Christian Church, Eastport.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband, William S. Follis Sr.; brothers, Arnold Call, Richard Call, Merton Call, Lawrence Call, Darrell Call, Roland Call, Ronald Call and Grayson Call; grandson, Theodore Greenlaw; and great-granddaughter, Mariah Francis.
