AUBURN -- Marie B. Foss, 96, a resident of Seville Park Plaza, Auburn died Tuesday afternoon May 4 at her home.
She was born in Bradford, Sept. 9, 1902, the daughter of Leslie and Etta (Smith) Bailey. Educated in Bangor schools, she was a graduate of Bangor High School. She was married to Harland G. Foss who died in 1966.
Self-employed, she owned and operated a bakery in Bradford for many years. She was a member of Silver Leaf Chapter 154 Order of Eastern Star in Charleston, a member of The Grange, and Rebekahs in Bradford. She enjoyed playing the piano.
She is survived by a daughter, Joyce R. Yorke of Zephyrilis, Fla.; one son, Donald Robinson of North Yarmouth; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
