Mrs. Matie Beninghaus, 94, of Wabeno, Wisconsin, died Wednesday evening at a nursing home at Antigo. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers. The Rev. Karl Koch will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mrs. Beninghaus was born June 1, 1878, at Stettin, Germany, daughter of the late William and Marie Zink. She was married to Alvin Beninghaus Sept. 26, 1898, at Menominee, Michigan, and he preceded her in death July 23, 1970.
Survivors include two daughters, three sons, a brother, Charles Zink of Pulcifer, Wisconsin, 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral chapel from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday.
