Mrs. Eulah Jean Giles Dieffenbacher, age 84, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Sunday, March 25, 2012, in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Dieffenbacher was born August 7, 1927, in Miller County, Arkansas, and had been a lifetime resident of Miller County.

She was a member of Highland Church of Christ and had been a former employee of Day and Zimmerman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Dieffenbacher, her parents, John and Minnie Giles, three brothers, and two sisters.

Survivors include one son, Daniel Dieffenbacher of Texarkana, Arkansas, one daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Ronald Brown of Texarkana, Texas, two grandchildren, Thomas H. and Jami Johnson of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Layna Brown of Texarkana, Texas, three great-grandchildren, Marshall Johnson, Madi Johnson, and Guy Johnson of Texarkana, Arkansas, and two special nieces, Pat Thompson of Texarkana, Texas, and Carolyn Ashmore of Ashdown, Arkansas.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 A. M. Wednesday at East Memorial Gardens with Chris Hooten officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
