John "Jack" Sherman
John "Jack" Sherman died on Thursday March 22, 2012 at home. A graduate of Ridley High School, he retired after 30 years at Boeing Helicopters, where he was a paint inspector. He was an Army veteran. Jack loved the beach, going fishing and was a car enthusiast. Pre-deceased by father Vernon Sherman; mother Mary Sherman; sister Anita (Joan) Thompson Survivors: Wife Elizabeth (Betty) Sherman (nee Bachle) to whom he was married 55 years; sons Jack Sherman (Vicki) and Ed Sherman (Kim); daughter Elizabeth (Betty) Johnson (Hank); brother Richard Sherman; 4 grandchildren; Hank Johnson Jr., Jessica Johnson, Nicole Sherman and Ed Sherman Jr. Visitation 10 to 11 AM on Wednesday at Kaniefski-Kendus-D'Anjolell Memorial Home, 3900 West 9th St., Trainer, PA. Funeral Service 11 AM at the memorial home. Interment private in Lawn Croft Cemetery.
