Roman Catholic Bishop. He served as the third Bishop of the Diocese of Camden, New Jersey, from 1960 to 1967. Ordained in Rome on December 11, 1935, he was a priest to the Buffalo New York Diocese. For the seven years prior to becoming Camden's Bishop he was Apostolic Delegate and Bishop to South Africa. His motto as bishop was "Strong In Faith".
