Saint and Martyr. He was the 30th archbishop of Canterbuty. In 1011 he was captured by the Danes. A heavy ransom was demanded for his release but he insisted that his people refuse to pay it. The Danes in turn killed him in Greenwich. He was born about 954 AD and was killed in 1012. His Feast Day is April 19th. (bio by: Willie)
