1st photo, Adrine and Kevork's daughter, Lucine Armaganian. She was a famous opera singer with the New York Metropolitan Opera for 50 years. Her stage name is Lucine Amara. She visited my grandmother, Satenig Cassabian, and attended Satenig's 100th birthday celebration.

Lucine's great, grandfather Haji Anjiah Yepremian, and my great, grandmother, Haji Marizta Mary Yerpemian Astikian were siblings. This would make us third cousins. Lucine always called Satenig "Auntie".

After discovering that Sarah Kazanjian's U.S. SS application stated her mother's maiden name, (Lucine's aunt) I verified the link between Lucine Armaganian and the Astikian family.

When the Astikians and the Armaganians lived in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, there were many family dinners. Lucine told me that Kevork would give his wife Adrine $5.00 and she would make the most delicious dinners. She was an excellent baker. These dinners would have happened during the 1930s. The Armaganians lived in the Bronx in 1930, census, and in San Francisco in 1940, census.
