Elsie S. Ramey Johnson, 79, of Kenefick, died Sunday, in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Services held at 1 PM, Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at Sterling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial following at Grandview Memorial Park Cemetery, Pasadena. Visitation held from 5 PM to 9 PM, Tuesday, at funeral home. Services directed by Sterling Funeral Home, Dayton.
Elsie was born November 14, 1924 in Crockett to parents; Edgar and Iva Land Ramey, former resident of Huffman and resided in the Kenefick for three years. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed flower gardening, visiting, reading, fishing, and travel.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband: Albert E. Johnson and son-in-law: Nick H. Garefalos.
Survived by daughter: Patricia "Pat" Garefalos of Kenefick, grandsons: Nick E. Garefalos and wife Brenda Langley of Simmons Bottom, Mike Garefalos of Kenefick, and Jeffery Garefalos of Kenefick, great-grandchildren: Toni and Cody Garefalos and Haston Brock, sisters: Evelyn Jones of Normangee and Dorothy Hebert of Arlington.
