James M. "Jack" Gibson 77, of Providence, KY, died at his home on Thursday March 29, 2012. He was retired from the Webster Co. Road Department. He was preceded in death by one son Terry Gibson. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Juanita Gibson of Providence, KY; 6 daughters Kathy Snodgrass of Corydon, KY, Janie Lanham and Shirley Pierce both of Owensboro, KY, Lottie Snodgrass and Jackie Jones both of Providence, KY and Dot Gibson of Dixon, KY; 4 sons Danny Gibson of Providence, KY, Jerry Gibson of Hanson, KY, Michael Gibson of Louisville, KY and John Gibson of Providence, KY; one sister Sammie Kirby of Dixon, KY; 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 5 great great grand; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Sunday April 1 at 2pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Donald Cole will officiate. Burial will be in Ashley Cemetery in Sebree, KY. Visitation will be from 11am until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
