William Ross Clark, 79 of St. Clairsville, died Saturday, October 29, 2005 at East Ohio Regional Hospital.

He was born on March 30, 1926 in St. Clairsville a son of the late Ross and Blanche Hines Clark.

Bill was a retired employee of Imperial Glass Corporation, an Army veteran of World War II having served with the Rainbow Division in the European Theatre and was a member of Glencoe American Legion Post #632.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Helen Borovich Clark; a brother Wilson M. Clark (Marian) of Dayton, Ohio; a sister Ruby Powell of Dayton; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Laurie Armstrong officiating. Belmont County Council of the American Legion will conduct full military honors at the funeral home immediately after the funeral service.

Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Presbyterian Church, 100 S. Marietta Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950.
