Agnes Elaine Goodspeed Walker, 92, was born December 5, 1919, in Moab, Utah to Beula Catherine Miller Goodspeed and John Curtis Goodspeed. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, John C. Goodspeed and Keith Goodspeed. She grew up in Moab and graduated from Grand County High School. She was the mother of two children by previous marriage, Vernon Kent Turner and Beula Kathryn Turner Bulloch. She loved to travel and on a trip to Hawaii in 1959, she met Gordon E. Walker who was stationed there with the U.S. Navy. They fell in love and married in 1963. After a tour of duty in Iwakuni, Japan, they returned to the U.S.A. to continue a beautiful marriage that lasted almost 50 years. Agnes passed away on March 31, 2012, after a long battle with cancer. Agnes is survived by her husband, Gordon Walker; her two children, Vernon Kent Turner and Beula Kathryn Turner Bulloch; her step-daughter, Barbara Bodkin; 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hurricane 21st Ward Chapel, 320 N. 3400 W., Hurricane, UT. There will be a visitation Wednesday, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment will take place Thursday, April 5, at 1:00 p.m. at the Palm Eastern Valley View Memorial Park, 6500 S. Eastern Blvd., Las Vegas, NV.
