He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. John J. Baker of East Springfield, Illinois, and is a 1966 graduate of Lanphier H.S.

Awards: Vietnam Service Medal with Three Service Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal.
