Elsie Lorene Bolding Creason was born July 16, 1922 near Plato, MO to Lilly Myrtle Burris and Frank Andrew Bolding. She left this world February 7, 2021 in Houston, MO at the age of 98 years, 6 months, and 21 days.
She was united in marriage to Clarence Leroy Creason on March 5, 1939. To this union 5 children were born, and many happy years of companionship and love ensued.
Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, her 3 brothers, Carmel Bolding; Bert Bolding; Franklin Bolding Hayes; her loving husband of 65 years, Clarence in 2004; her daughter, Ruby Levon; son, James Franklin in 2015; granddaughter, Cheri Lei Creason; and daughter-in-law, Arlene Adkison Creason.
Survivors to mourn her passing include son, Robert (Anna Ruth Crismon), daughters, Linda McCoy, Carol Weston (Ken); grandchildren: Kevin (Angela) Creason, Deanne McCoy, Jay McCoy & wife, Celena Miller (BJ), Paula Peterson (Kurt), Tracy Ledgerwood (& husband), Ethan Weston (Elizabeth Underwood), and Stefani Weston (Dominic Price); numerous great grandchildren; and a plethora of other family members, and friends who share in our sorrow of missing her.
She was also “mom” and “grandma” to so many others.
Her greatest satisfaction was her family, then her cooking skills and her “green thumb”.
Her openness and generosity to everyone she met was a landmark trait of hers. While her life as a child was difficult and hard, she made certain to use that as a steppingstone for always helping others. She will be greatly missed.
