Amador Ayala of Cotulla, entered into rest on Friday, June 20, 2008 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 73 years. He was born in Cotulla, Texas on March 18, 1935 to Luis and Florencia Valle Ayala. A son Arturo and a brother Jose Ayala preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife Maria of Cotulla; sons Amador Ayala, Jr. and wife Roselma of Illinois, Antonio Ayala and wife Carolyn of Illinois, Abel Ayala of Cotulla and Andres Ayala and wife Nicole of Illinois; brothers Luis Ayala, Jr. of Cotulla, Gustavo Ayala of Cotulla and Jesus Ayala of Cotulla; 14 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. He was a hard worker and a friendly man who always had a smile on his face when he saw you. He will be missed by everyone. Rosary was recited Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Peters Funeral Home. Mass was celebrated Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Ft. Villanueva, celebrant. Interment followed in the Cotulla East Cemetery. Pallbearers were Amador Ayala, Jr., Amador Ayala, III, Andres Ayala, Abel Ayala, Jr., Adrian Ayala, Sergio Ayala, Salvador Ayala, Luis Martin Ayala, Jesse Ayala, Jr. and Alfredo Gonzalez. Arrangements under the direction of the Peters Funeral Home, Cotulla.
