Robert "Bob" Langdon Brunson was born in Coalgate, OK to David Daniel Brunson and Martha Cordelia Herring. He was raised in Ada, OK, graduated from East Central State University, and was a counselor for the Oklahoma City Public Schools. In December of 1951, married to Lorene I. Munson. He was an active member of Ridgecrest United Methodist Church and the Sons of Confederate Veterans. He did a puppet ministry with children in th Lay Witness Mission Ministry program. He recorded the church services and sent the tapes to people around the world. He was also a tapesponder with tape pals around the world. Treated for diabetes since the age of twelve, he lost his vision as an adult. His many friends remember kindness.
