Daniel Harold Milton, 82 July 02, 1929 - April 12, 2012
Graduated from the US Navy Radar School, was a chief radarman on a destroyer. Served in the Korean conflict, and returned to service during the Cuban missile crisis. Completed his education at St. Petersburg Jr. College. After serving this country in the military, he went to work at Florida Power, retiring after 40 years. He was a member of Skycrest United Church for 55 years. He also coached Clearwater Little League teams for 15 years. He enjoyed his time on the water, cast netting along Dunedin Beach, supplying friends and neighbors with many meals. He also worked as a volunteer at the RCS Food Bank.
Immediate family members still living and deceased
Daniel is survived by his wife Virginia, to whom he was married for 60 years. He was preceeded in death by 2 brothers, JL and Norman, and 1 sister, Marium. He is survived by 2 sisters, Joyce and Cheryl. 4 children, Karen, Scott, Kim and Mark. 8 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
A Visitation will be on Sunday, April 15th, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at Moss-Feaster Funeral Home in Dunedin.
Services will be at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, Graveside, on Monday, April 16th at 11:00 am.
