Spanish Royalty. Born Mary Louise Gabrielle in Turin, the second daughter of Victor Amadeus II of Sardinia and Anne Marie D'Orleans, niece of Louis XIV of France. She married Philip V of Spain in November 1701. She allegedly exerted a great influence on her husband and the couple had four children, two of whom would succeed to the throne; Luis I and Fernando VI. She died at age 25 in Madrid.
