Waldin, Edward L., 94, passed away April 7, 2012. Devoted husband of Sue Waldin (nee Berry), loving father of Susan (Jack) Gehrum and Edward L. (Nancy) Waldin, Jr., loving grandfather of Christy Dalton and Kirby Gehrum, and great grandfather of Jay Dalton. He was preceded in death by his brother Sam Waldin. Ed graduated from North Carolina State with a degree in Engineering and served in the US Navy during World War II. He and Sue moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, when he was named District Manager of the Cincinnati office of General Automatic Sprinkler Company. They raised their family in Cincinnati and later moved to Columbus, Indiana, before retiring to Stuart, Florida, and then to John Knox Village in Pompano Beach, Florida. He was an accomplished golfer.
