Before moving to Detroit, he was a resident of Rossiter,Indiana County,Pennsylvania.

John Burns
and Joseph Burns, all of Detroit;
Paul Burns,with the U.S.Army stationed in Fort Bliss,Texas;
Mrs. Laura Burgess
and Mrs. Louise Weustewald,both of Detroit;
An uncle, John P. Murray of Chestnut Street,in Punxsutawney,Jefferson County,Pennsylvania,also survives.
