POQUOSON - Ret. USAF TSgt. Herman B. Moody passed away July 12, 2009.

He was born Dec. 21, 1921, a truly beloved husband and father.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Edith Lea (Baby); his four children, Richard L. Moody (Joann), Herman D. Moody (Beverly), Sherry L. Duncan (Allen), and Sheila B. Hooks (Lou); seven grandchildren, Theresa Rose, Shannon McMahan, Christine Jennewein, Lindsay Hooks, Karena Auer, Cassandra Thomas, and Christopher Moody; and nine great-grandchildren.

We will miss him dearly and love him forever.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be held on at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
