note: Zella was first married, in 1902, to Wiley R. Pilkenton. They had three children: Keith, Pearl and Lena. Wiley and Zella were divorced in 1915 and in 1918 Wiley married Amy Johnson. Zella was briefly maried to a Mr. Noble and in 1921 she married Rosco Keith. Zella and Rosco lived near Ensign in Gray County, Kansas. He died there in 1936.

The family moved to Perry, Okla. at the opening of the Cherokee Strip. She was married October 15, 1902 to W. R. Pilkenton and lived for some time at Delta, Colo. She moved to Dodge City in 1915 and reared her family here. On January 19, 1921, she was married to Roscoe Keith. Mr. Keith died May 21, 1936. Mrs. Keith is survived by a son, K. O. Pelkenton of Walnut Creek, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Turner of Torrence, Calif. and Mrs. Lenna Abrams of Garden Grove; a granddaughter, Mrs. Betty Inman, whom Mrs. Keith reared; three brothers, James A. Berger of Perry, Okla., Charles D. Berger of Sparks, Nev., and Enos E. Berger of Las Vegas, Nev., and two sisters, Mrs. Frances Clark of Pleasant Hill, Calif. and Mrs. Hester Dunning of San Rafael, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Mrs. Keith attended the Central Christian Church. She was baptized in girlhood.
