Howard P. Woods, 58, of Burnside died Saturday, Jan 21, in Miners Hospital at Spangler. Mr. Woods was born at Five Points, son of Warren and Marietta Snyder Woods. His wife, the former Geraldine Weaver, survives as do the following children: Howard D., Glen Campbell; Warren P., Mrs. James (Rosemary) Ashurst, Jane and John E., Burnside. A daughter preceded him in death. Other survivors include five grandchildren, three brothers, Archie of Patton; Donald of LaJose and Dean of Mahaffey; two half-brothers Walter Crook of LaJose RD and Harold Crook of Gypsy and two sisters, Mrs. Jack (Leah) Deitrick of Westover and Mrs. Jules Degand of Altoona RD. Mr. Woods was a Member of Bell Township Grange at Mahaffey, the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Burnside.
