FORMER CLYDE MAN STRICKEN
J. F. Deck, 72, Bowing Green funeral director, died suddenly Tuesday morning. He was stricken while conversing with his family. Mr. Deck had undergone operations last year.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from Bowling Green United Brethren church with Scottish Masonic Rite. Mr. Deck had been in business in Bowing Green the past 26 years.
His early youth and manhood were spent in Sandusky county near Clyde where he operated a farm, which he retained after going to Bowing Green. He began his professional work in Clyde continuing there until 1911.
Surviving are the wife, Lillian Hoover Deck; a daughter, Mrs. Hildreth Wood and a granddaughter, Marcene Wood.
