Andrew Kimball was born August 28, 1756 in Boxford, MA, the son of Lieut. Richard and Elizabeth (Seton) Kimball. Andrew came to Rindge, NH with his parents and siblings previous to 1775, they settled on the farm later of Dea. Gates of Ashby. Andrew married, 1st, February 23, 1783, Rachel Cutter, the daughter of Nathan and Hannah Cutter of New Ipswich, NH. Andrew and Rachel had one child. She died April 10, 1786. Andrew married 2nd, January 6, 1787, Parna (Sawyer) Howe, the widow of Dr. Howe of Sterling, MA. Parna died May 20, 1788. He married 3rd, February 15, 1791, widow Prudence (Fuller) Carlton of Lunenburg, MA. Prudence died, he married 4th, June 1, 1793, Polly Barker, the daughter of Barnabas and Sarah (Green) Barker. Polly died July 27, 1796. Andrew married 5th, February 13, 1759, Elizabeth Hill. Andrew and Elizabeth had three children. Andrew was a tailor and he resided at the property later of William A. Sherwin. Andrew died in Rindge September 9, 1821, aged 65 years.
