Journalist, Editor. His name was for decades synonymous with one of Sweden´s biggest newspapers, "Göteborgs-Posten" (The Gothenburg Post). He was recruited to the paper 1918, and succeeded the ownership in 1926, and also became its editor. He maintained his position until his death, and was succeeded by his son, Lars. From 1942 to 1958 he was president of Örgryte IS, one of Gothenburgs most successful soccer-clubs.
