Drew, Thomas Edward 76 Oct. 19, 1935 April 29, 2012 Thomas is survived by his wife, Linda, of 38 years; three sons, Dan, Sean, Kevin; and seven grandchildren. Tom retired in 1999 as a federal mediator. There will be a private celebration of his life. Burial was at Willamette National Cemetery. (The Oregonian, 03 May 2012)

Thomas Drew, a retired Federal Mediator, died of natural causes on Sunday, April 29, 2012.
Tom was born in Portland to George and Alice Drew, was raised in North Portland, and graduated from Benson High School. In the early fifties Tom served three years in the US Navy. In 1967, after nine years working at Pennwalt Industrial Chemical and serving as elected President and Business Representative of Chemical Workers Local 109, Tom was appointed International Representative for the western region of the International Chemical Workers Union. In September 1977 Tom was selected and appointed as a Federal Mediator with the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service in Portland where he provided mediation service to the Oregon and Southwest Washington Labor-Management communities until his retirement in 1999. Tom is survived by his wife Linda, sons Dan, Sean and Kevin and seven grandchildren. Tom will be buried privately in Willamette National Cemetery.
