Merle Huffman. 62, of Rt. 4. McLeansboro, died at 10:20 a.m. Thursday at the Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.

He was born in Clinton, Ill.., , the son of Kirk and Mary (Baker) Huffman, on March 14, 1909.
Mr. Huffman was a mechanic and was a member of the Christian church of Streator.

Surviving are his wife, the former Betty L. Redshaw; one son, John of Forest, Ill..; daughters, Miss Lois Ann Huffman and Miss Jean Huffman, both of McLeansboro; and brother, Edward of Lakeville, Ind.

One sister also survives.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Gholson Funeral Chapel in McLeansboro with the Rev. Billy Duncan officiating.

In Burial will be in Odd Fellows cemetery, McLeansboro.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Saturday.
