DEATH OF MRS PETTICREW
AMBOY, ILL., April 19 - Mrs. Margaret Petticrew died Tuesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Walters (Ella Elizabeth nee Petticrew). She was one of the old settlers of the town, having lived here since 1855. She was the widow of David Petticrew, to whom she was married in 1843. Eleven children were born to them, seven of whom survive - Joseph of Alaska; Sylvester, of Iowa, Frank, of Freeport, IL., Mrs. Olive Cole, of Lincoln, IL., Mrs. Alice Persley, of Clinton, IL; Mrs. C. W. Maine and Mrs. Henry Walters, of Amboy.
Funeral services will be held this (Tuesday) afternoon at the Walters residence, one mile south of town. Burial will be in the family lot in the Binghamton Cemetery.

Married 1) Henry Miller, Dec 1836 St. Joseph Co., Indiana. Widowed in 1842.

Married 2) David Petticrew 12 Feb 1843 in Chillicothe, Livingston Co., Missouri.
11 children with David; Julia, Jasper, Philena, Andrew, Sylvester, Mary, Frank, Olive, Alice, Emma, & Ella Petticrew.
