Willie Paul Dane, 87, of Martin, died Tuesday, November 21, 2006, at Summitt Medical Center. Funeral services for Mr. Dane were held Friday, November 24, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield. Burial followed in Brock's Cemetery in Greenfield. Bro. Raymon Carneal officiated the services.
Mr. Dane was a self-employed brick mason. He was born June 19, 1919 in Trezevant to the late Robert Wright Lee Dane and Lou Etta Hargrave. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dane was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Dane.
Mr. Dane is survived by three sons, Phil Dane of Martin, Greg Dane of Mt. Juliet, and Ronnie Dane of Collierville; a sister, Claudine Smith of Troy; and six grandchildren.
