Mr. McGee
Marion A. "Fibber" McGee, 56, Smyrna, died Thursday while visiting in Brunswick. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery, with Chaplain R.F. Holohan officiating. Members of Smyrna American Legion Post 160 will serve as pallbearers and honorary escort.
A Kennesaw native, Mr. McGee lived in Smyrna 30 years and was an electrician for Footes-Davis Inc. He was a World War I veteran and a member of the 509th paratrooper battalion; and a member and past commander of the Smyrna American Legion Post 160.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Helen Terell McGee sons, David R. McGee, Smyrna; daughters, Mrs. Suzanne Chinall and Miss Nancy K. McGee, Smyrna; brothers, James McGee, Marietta; J.P. McGee, Barberton, Ohio; sister, Mrs. Thelma Carrie, Atlanta; and two grandchildren.
