Jeffery Lee Arthur, 7 month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Arthur, Spener, Route 2, died Wednesday morning at the Riley Hospital, Indianapolis, where he had been a patient for only a few hours. Cause of death was said to have been meningococcemia.
He was born August 14, 1955 and is survived by the parents; one sister, Peggy Irene, 8 years old; the parental grandparents,
Private funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Macy Funeral Home, Rev. William T. Fleming officiating. Interment was made in Riverside Cemetery. Private funeral services and a closed casket were ordered by the public health officer of Owen county.
