YARMOUTH - Frances Mann Knight, 85, of 3 Sligo Road died Wednesday at a Falmouth nursing home after a long illness. She was born here, daughter of William N. and Georgia Titcomb Mann, attended local schools and graduated from Howard Seminary and Lasell Junior College in Massachusetts. She worked as a secretary for a doctor. In 1933, she married Fank A. Knight and moved here in 1938. Mrs. Knight was a member of First Parishy Cogregational Church, the illage Improvement Society and the Yarmouth Farm & Garden Club. She was active in several other civic affairs including youth organizations, and was at one time a Cub Scout Den Mother. She made hooked rugs. Surviving, besides her husband, are a son, Richard L. Knight of North Yarmouth; a grandson and a granddaughter. A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the First Parish Congregational Church. The Revs. Lorain Giles and Kenneth Baily will officiate. Spring Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lindquist Funeral Home.
