Mrs. Emma Elizabeth Snyder, 78, of Parkersburg, died at the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital Friday. She was born in Creston, W.Va., daughter of the late Allan and Inza Headley Hopkins. She was a member of the Briscoe Run Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Loy A., of Parkersburg, and Donald G. of Milwaukee, Wis; two brothers, Paul Hopkins, of Zanesville, Ohio, and Chris Hopkins, of Wichita Falls, Tex.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orval L. Snyder, and by a daughter, a son and a grandson.
The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the Briscoe Run Baptist Church, with the Rev. Garvin Walls officiating. Burial followed in the Snyder Cemetery in Wirt County.
