The funeral of Mrs. Annie Ballestad was held at the Jerpen church on Tuesday afternoon.
Mrs. Ballestad was one of the oldest members of this congregation having been a life long resident of this community and was eighty five years of age. She has been in failing health for several weeks but suffered no sickness, her death being due to old age.
She is survived by three sons and three daughters; Theodore of Sawyer, Wis., Mrs. Minnie Veidoll of Mauston, Wis., and Lars, Selmar, Gustave and Mollie at home.
