He was named Knut Sandness in the burial records, from the name of the home farm on Windingstad in Valdres, Norway.∼Knud Sandnaes (Sandnos) was the son of Thomas Iverson and Ingelborg Laradatter. Immigrated 1852. Two Rivers Town 1855,Two Rivers Tannery 1856; farmer in Gibson 1870.
