Funeral arrangements were being made Friday for Maj. Louis N. Berdami, 39-year old Army officer, killed Thursday night in a plane crash near Weston, Mo.
Maj. Berdami, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis W. Berdami, 4744 de Montluzin, was assigned as Instructor at the command and general staff college, Ft. Leavenworth, Kan.
He was killed when the light observation plane he was piloting suddenly nosed to the ground about two miles from Weston, according to a dispatch from Ft. Leavenworth.
Maj. Berdami enlisted in the Army in 1941 and served as a captain of infantry in the Pacific theater in World War II, members of the family said.

Maj. Berdami's survivors, besides his parents and brothers, include a sister, Mrs. Philip E. James.
