She was born May 8, 1957, in Malta to Robert and Marilyn Jeanne (Crowder) McGee and attended school in Helena. She was graduated from Helena Senior High in 1975.
Trudy and Tom were married on July 21, 1979, in Helena. Her greatest joy in this life was the birth and upbringing of her three wonderful children, Nikki, Jade and Chase.
Trudy was the foundation and backbone of her family. Her strong values, faith and spirituality were ever present and were gifts that she passed along to her children, family and friends. Her philosophy was to always find the positive side no matter what the situation was. Trudy always had a smile to share.
Trudy enjoyed traveling for and supporting her children’s activities. She was also active in the 4-H program, team penning and everyday ranch and agricultural life with her husband and children.
Her giving and compassionate nature was extended to her employment as a nurse.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom on Jan. 25, 2001, her mother and a brother, Robert McGee.
She is survived by her children; father, Robert and step-mother, Martha of Helena; brother, Stephen and sister-in-law, Kathy of Helena; brother, Gregory and sister-in-law, Jan of Texas; sister, Dianna of Colorado; step-sister, Melody Harris of Billings; step-brother, Ernie Lees of Helena; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nephews and great-nieces.
