HENRYETTA - Mary Magdelene RUSSELL was born December 14, 1911, at Hoffman. She died March 14, 1994, in Tulsa.
Funeral services were held March 17 at Immanuel Baptist Church with Jack VANCE officiating. Pallbearers were Billy BREWER, Robert RUSSELL, Curt RUSSELL, James Henry RUSSELL, Billy David RUSSELL, and Cullen HELMS. Honorary pallbearers were Woodrow ROBINSON, Keith OGLESBY, Rick OGLESBY, Joe NAIL, Richard CARTER, Carol BEAN, Jimmy KIDWELL, Albert BROWN, Dink LANGSTON, Tony HENRY, Bret RIDER, Mike RUSSELL and Albert PETERS. Interment was in the New Senora Cemetery.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Dewar. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry RUSSELL; a son, Floyd RUSSELL; a sister, two brothers, and her parents, Joseph WILLIS and Nancy COLE.
She is survived by 10 of her children, Ruby COATES of the home, Faye SHAWDAH, Nancy LONG, and James RUSSELL, all of Dewar, Dee RUSSELL, Sarah Ann KIDWELL, and Billy Joe RUSSELL, all of Henryetta, Curt RUSSELL of Tiger Mountain, Lee RUSSELL of Velma, and Charley RUSSELL of Rolla, MO; daughters-in-law, Gerry RUSSELL of Tiger Mountain, Mary RUSSELL of Valma, and Paula RUSSELL and Linda RUSSELL, both of Henryetta, Hazel RUSSELL of Dewar, and Suzanne RUSSELL of Rolla; sons-in-law Gene LONG of Dewar, and Jim KIDWELL of Henryetta; five sisters, Lilly NOBLIN and Arnette HICKS, both of Henryetta, Martha FRY of Dewar, Elise BROKEN of Bristow, and Irene WOODS of Estchadia, OR; 41 grandchildren; 95 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren."
