"Charles A. Dean, 65, of Los Angeles who was here on vacation and had planned to attend the Olympics, died Thursday night in his trailer home in a local court (Mountain View Trailer Court).
Mr. Dean, no stranger to Nevada, married Geraldine Clayton of Elko on the Clayton ranch in Elko County shortly after WWI (Western States Marriage Index, married 1921 Elko County, NV). His uncle, Joseph Dean, operated large ranches and was a cattle raiser in the Beowaew area.
Charles A. Dean had owned the Dean Oil and Tools Company in Los Angeles and Bakersfield. He sold his business and retired about three years ago. Surviving are his widow, of Los Angeles. Two brothers and a sister in California also survive.
He was born in San Francisco Aug 2, 1894. He was a member of Argonne Lodge 514 F. & A. M. San Francsico."

Gravesite Details

Cremated 22 Feb 1960 Mountain View Crematory. According to records at Mountain View Cemeterty, he was shipped home, according Cypress Lawn records, he is inurned here.
