Private memorial services will be held for Mrs. Edith B. Brown, 86, 29 Pleasant St., Marblehead, who died Sept. 14 in a local nursing home. She was the widow of Harry Brown.
The daughter of the late William and Carrie (Dennis) Bartlett, she was a lifelong resident.
Mrs. Brown had worked as a secretary for the John Hancock Insurance Co., before she retired many years ago.
She was a member of the Old North Congregational Church.
She leaves a sister, Mrs. Louisa B. Magee of Marblehead; two nieces and two nephews and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
Arrangements are being handled by the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home.
